Masters of plan B – we know how to adapt!

For centuries, Icelanders have adapted to highly challenging natural conditions such as harsh weather, volcanos, and earthquakes.

Nature has made us resilient, flexible, open-minded, and solution-oriented.

We know all too well that nature can quickly upset plans. Thus, we are quick to think on our feet and make sure to have a plan B—or even a plan C—if things go wrong.

Icelanders are also quick to adapt and incorporate new technologies. For example, internet use is among the highest in the world, and companies are quick to implement new technologies to streamline business efficiencies.

EXAMPLES:

  • Adapting plans in tourism
  • How we construct our houses
  • Internet use is among the highest in the world
